MURI team visits AP-Hill for Landmine demonstration

John Fasulo speaks to the MURI team members. Land mines from several countries and spanning many decades lie on the table behind him.

John demonstrates the ignition of a detonation cord. One of the unique properties of these cords is that its spark cannot be extinguished by water or smothering. The detonation cord must be cut in order to stop it from igniting the landmine.

John continues to educate the team about the devastation of landmines.
