JOELLE FRECHETTE AND HAI-QUAN MAO RECEIVE NSF CAREER AWARDS
Recently awarded to Joelle Frechette, assistant professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and Hai-Quan Mao, assistant professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the CAREER awards are given in recognition of young scientists’ commitment to research and education.
ALLISON OKAMURA NAMED FIRST GILBERT DECKER FACULTY SCHOLAR
The award, established by Gil Decker '58, recognizes Okamura's exceptional achievement in haptics, her area of robotics expertise, and provides financial support to promote her research, teaching, and entrepreneurial activities.
