Early November -- to approve candidates who have: (1) completed requirements over the summer, or (2) registered for the fall term and completed all requirements by the eight-week deadline--these students receive a full tuition reimbursement for fall.
Early February -- to approve candidates who completed requirements during the remainder of the fall semester.
Early May -- to approve candidates who completed requirements in the spring semester. Approval may be given contingent upon satisfactory completion of courses in process.
Freshman Britni Lonesome began working in the lab of Associate Professor Justin Hanes when she was still in high school. There, she's helping develop a new drug delivery system that could someday reduce tuberculosis deaths in impoverished nations.
